Sani Zuntu, of Revere, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 28 around 5:50 p.m. at 50 Park Plaza on charges of possession of child pornography, nudity, or sexual contact, and disseminating child pornography or nudity and sexual contact, according to the Boston Police Department.

Leading the conversation with the text, "Hey, can we talk please," Zuntu shared child pornographic material with uncover investigators, Suffolk County District Kevin Hayden reports.

He proceeded to send videos depicting adults sexually molesting children and was arrested after agreeing to meet the investigators at a Boston hotel.

“I thank the local and federal investigators for handling this matter so effectively after being contacted by this defendant. I hope this incident sends a message to anyone else contemplating viewing this type of material: it’s harmful to children and you will be prosecuted,” Hayden said.

Zuntu was placed on a $50,000 bail after he was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court, the DA's Office reports.

He was also ordered to stay away from anyone under 18, avoid schools, cannot work with children and must give up his passport and be strapped with a GPS device. Zuntu is due back in court for a pre-trial conference on April 4.
